Gentle Giant
Gentle Giant is a British group of progressive Rock which will produce 12 albums (including one live ) between 1970 and 1980.
Gentle Giant manages to amalgamate with elegance of broad sources of inspiration which go from the medieval Musique to the Jazz while passing by the Polyphonie S of the Renaissance, the Folklore, the Soul, the symphonic music, the contemporary dissonances, the chamber music, the Rock… and to produce a work musicalement complexes, but finally accessible, thanks to the extreme richness of its melodies and its arrangements.

History
After having dissociated the group Simon Dupree and the Big Sound , Derek Shulman , Ray Shulman and Phil Shulman decided to form a new group with the guitarist Gary Green , the pianist Kerry Minnear and several beaters ( John Weathers became the official beater as from 1972) to record twelve albums in one decade. Their most popular discs were: In has Glass House (1973), The Power and the Glory (1974) and Free Hand left in 1975. Towards the end of their history, the group changed progressive style with something moreover pop , which became finally definitely less popular.
