Gentium lumen
Lumen Gentium is one of the four conciliar constitutions promulgated by the council the Vatican II, which mean (Christ is it) Lumière of the nations . Relating to the Catholic church, it was solemnly promulgated the November 21st 1964 by the pope Paul VI. It is partially inspired by the Encyclique Mystici Corporis Christi , promulgated by the pope Pie XII the June 29th 1943, which defined the Church as the “mystical body of Jesus-Christ. ”
