Gentile da Fabriano

Gentile di Niccolò di Giovanni Massi , known as Gentile da Fabriano (born with Fabriano or about 1370 - ~ 1427) is a known Italian painter for his contribution to the Gothic style .

His/her mother died before 1380 and his/her father Niccolò di Giovanni Massi, being withdrawn in a monastery, died there in 1385.

He worked in various places of the center of the Italy, especially in Toscane. Its most known works are the worship of the magi and the escape in Egypt .
