It will continue in the traditional repertory with the Théâtre of Odéon in parts like the satin Shoe , Andromaque or the Night of the kings , etc.
Racée actress, equipped with this indefinable and inimitable French elegance, it is not astonishing that the American cinema monopolizes it as of the medium of the Années 1950 to incarnate the European ones refined or majestic princesses as in Enigmatic Mr D. (Foreign Intrigue) of Sheldon Reynols or Cid (El Cid) of Anthony Mann.
But Genevieve Page risks herself successfully in roles with against-employment. With the cinema, one discovers it into enigmatic and distinguished tenancière from house of master keys in Belle of day of Luis Buñuel (1967) or as a widow nymphomaniac in cold Buffet of Bertrand Blier (1979). With the theater, it incarnates unexpected Petra Von Kant in the French adaptation of work Rainer Werner Fassbinder, the bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant assembled to the National theater of Chaillot in 1980 and which will be worth a Price of Criticism to him amply deserved. Parallel to its activities of actress, it exempts punctually courses of dramatic art.
