Genevieve Kervine

Genevieve Kervine (Genevieve Marie Antoinette Kervingant), born the June 27th 1931 with Dakar (Senegal) and dead the September 5th 1989 with Paris, was a French Actrice. She had married the June 24th 1967 with Sérignan (Herault) with the Chanteur - Acteur Jean Bretonnière (1924 - 2001), his partner of predilection to the scene. From their union was born a son, Marc Bretonnière, also actor. Genevieve Kervine dies of the continuations of a cancer and Jean Bretonnière, deeply affected by his disappearance, will ignore his own career consequently.

Biography

Genevieve Kervine is born with Dakar, randomly of the assignments of her father, a doctor colonel with the armies. She will begin besides on the scene from the Opera from Hanoi where his/her father was then in station. Returned to France at the end of the Years 1940, Genevieve follows the courses of dramatic art of Charles Dullin while holding of the small roles in operettas, the spectacles in vogue of the time. Formed for the scene, it is thus with the theater and the cabaret that it finds its first engagements. Many parts will follow which she will often walk in province in company of her preferred partner and her husband in the life, Jean Bretonnière.
