Genevieve Bujold

Genevieve Bujold (July 1st 1942 with Montreal, Quebec -) is a Canadian actress (Québécois).

Biography

It was raised by parents having a strict catholic education who placed it during twelve years at the convent. By afterwards, it will start an international career which will proceed in three countries: Canada, France and the United States.

In 1973, she is success in Quebec with the film Kamouraska of Claude Jutra.

In the years 1990, it was to play the part of the character of Katherine Janeway in the American series Star Trek Voyager , but it gave up just after the turning of the first episode, because of a too demanding schedule. Kate Mulgrew replaced it.

It is related with the strong man Louis Cyr.
