Genevese-Nemours
The Genevese-Nemours or Savoy-Nemours constitute a branch junior by the Maison of Savoy.
They were Masters of the Genevois, the Faucigny and the Beaufortain between 1514 and 1659, but were also powerful feudal kingdom of France (dukes of Nemours, duke of Aumale).
Maintaining the close links with the royal House of France and the Own way, they took an active part in the many political events and alliances of the 16th century and 17th century, the such League and the Sling. Their implication in the course of the events leads to their financial problems and heavy debts in spite of their important possessions in Savoy and France.

1514 - 1533: Philippe of Savoy-Nemours (born in 1490, died with Marseilles the October 25th 1533), count apanagist of Geneva and brother of the duke Charles III of Savoy (1486 - 1553), its nephew gave him the Duché of Nemours. He married Charlotte of Orleans (1512 † 1549).
- 1533 - 1585: Jacques of Savoy-Nemours (born with Vauluissant the October 12th 1531, died with Annecy the June 18th 1585), duke of Geneva in 1564, wire of the precedent. It was distinguished during the wars of religion against the Protestant . He married Anne d' Este (1531 † 1607), widow of François de Guise.
- 1585 - 1595: Charles Emmanuel of Savoy-Nemours (born the February 12th 1567, dead the August 13rd 1595 with Annecy), wire of the precedent. It was implied in the many intrigues of the Maison of Own way, it was the half-brother of Henri Ier de Guise, the chief of the catholic League, opposed to the Huguenot S. After the assassination of the Duke of Own way, it continued Durand of the years the fight against Huguenots and was the governor of Paris whereas the city was besieged by the troops Henri IV. - 1595 - 1632: Henri I {{er}} of Savoy-Nemours (born with Paris the November 2nd 1572, died in Paris the July 10th 1632), brother of the precedent. He married Anne of Lorraine (1600 † 1632), duchess of Aumale, girl of Charles Ier of Lorraine.
- 1632 - 1641: Louis of Savoy-Nemours (born in 1615, dead the September 16th 1641), wire of the precedent. It Maria not.
- 1641 - 1652: Charles Amédée of Savoy-Nemours (born with Paris the April 12th 1624, died in Paris the July 30th 1652), brother of the precedent. It took an active share in the turbid of the Sling which agitated the minority of Louis XIV, and ordered the army of the princes with the duke of Beaufort, his brother-in-law. It was killed at the time of a duel. He married Elisabeth de Bourbon (1614 † 1664), girl of the duke of Vendôme.
- 1652 - 1659: Henri II of Savoy-Nemours (born with Paris the November 7th 1625, died in Paris the January 14th 1659). Man of the church, it was archbishop of Rheims, then duke of Geneva, of Nemours and of Aumale. He married Marie Anne of Orleans, (1625 † 1707), girl of the duke of Longueville. Died without descent, its duchies being primarily Prerogative S, the duchy of Nemours returned to the royal House of France, and the duchy of Geneva and Aumale passed to his/her niece Marie Jeanne of Savoy.
