General union of the workers of Germany - Organization unit
Organization conseillist resulting in 1920 from a scission of AAUD (General union of the Workers of Germany).
General union of the Workers of Germany - unit Organization (AAUD-E) critical the centralist operation of the AAUD and its bonds with KAPD (working Communist party of Germany). Half of the 200.000 members of the AAUD then leave the organization to found the AAUD-E in December 1920. The AAUD-E was as its name indicates it a unit organization which gathered the workers at the same time economically and politically, but which was neither a trade union nor a party.
Otto Rühle is the principal organizer of the AAUD-E.
In front of the fast fall their manpower, the AAUD and the AAUD-E end up being reunified in 1931 under the name of working communist Union of Germany (KAUD).
