General sports Club
The general sports clubs are sporting clubs manager, under the same organization, several sports different. They are represented, within the C.N.O.S.F., by the French federation of the General sports Clubs (F.F.C.O.) Co-chaired by Gerard Perreau-Bezouille and Patrick Baqué .
To gather this diversity and to constitute the horizontal structure essential to the French sporting movement, French federation of the General sports Clubs has the aim of supporting, to promote, inform and defend the clubs, of to help to organize itself, to propose dialog and experience sharing while bringing mutual aid and assistance.

Origins of FFCO : Created in October 1978, the National Grouping of the General sports Clubs (GNCO) was born following a conference bringing together leaders of general sports clubs which reflect in obviousness the specificity of the general sports clubs and the problems encountered by those. The GNCO goes then during ten years, to gather a growing number of members and to impose themselves in the French sport like the voice of the general sports clubs.
The number and the diversity of its members, small and large, prestigious and little known, town and rural, will allow him to express itself in the name of all. In November 1988, the GNCO decides to adapt its structures to its representativeness: its General meeting makes the decision to transform it of French federation of the General sports Clubs (FFCO).
Approved by the ministry for Youth and the Sports, the FFCO does not cease since developing. It reinforced sound role of spokesperson of the general sports clubs and developed a service of assistance with the clubs in their administration and daily management.
