General reference frame of safety

The general Référentiel of Safety ( RGS ) is a project within the French governmental program ADELE. It is led by the Head office of the modernization of the State (DGME).

A general reference frame of safety is a reference frame which fixes the rules that the functions of the information systems must respect contributing to the safety of the information exchanged by electronic way such as the functions of identification, electronic signature, confidentiality and time-stamping. The conditions of development, approval, modification and publication of this reference frame are fixed by decree.
