General information of Mills
The Généralité of Moulins was created in 1587.
It was composed of seven elections; eighteen subdelegations (intendance).

Names of the principal bailliages, followed number of deputies to elect:
- Seneschalsy of High-Walk in Guéret, 8 deputies;
- Seneschalsy of Mills, 12 deputies;
- Bailliage de Nivernois and Donziois in Nevers, 8 deputies;
- Bailliage of Saint-Pierre-the-Moutier, 4 deputies, (secondary Cusset, bailliage).
