General alliance against the racism and for the respect of the French and Christian identity

The general Alliance against the racism and for the respect of the French and Christian identity , commonly known under its Acronym Agrif , is a founded association in 1984 of Christian inspiration traditionalist. The purpose of it is to fight, mainly by legal way, against the " attacks with the dignity of the identity chrétienne" and " nationale".

Organization

Agrif has as a president Bernard Antony. Agrif publishes an end-of-term report under the name Homophone the Claw . She asserts more than 6000 members.

Initially, the concept of fight against racism was not present in the social object of the AGRIF. Following several reverses in justice, it introduced into its texts founders the concept of “ Racism anti-white ” and of “ Racism anti-chrétien ”, its legitimacy was recognized by the Court of appeal on April 16th, 1996. Agrif affirms to defend the victims of all racisms. It prosecuted of the personalities like Marek Halter and Jacques Lanzmann but could not continue Michel Rocard protected by his ministerial immunity.

Its actions remain little mediatized, because they are generally relayed only by some media " friendly " such as the daily newspaper Present or Radio Courtesy. That can, inter alia reasons, to explain its difficulties of gathering a big number of demonstrators.

Proximity with the extreme line and the National front

Among its leaders executives, current or old are found, National front. Its president is Bernard Antony, former European deputy, who represents in Front National the current national-catholic. Among his members, one can note the director of the daily newspaper Présent, Jeanne Smits; Wallerand de Saint-Just the lawyer of the National front and Jean-Marie Le Pen as defects presidents, as well as the Journalist Serge de Beketch and the essay writer Henri de Fersan (which in particular worked with Jean-Marie Le Chevallier has Toulon).

Whereas Michel Guiniot, member of the political office of Front National, indicated the AGRIF like a " entity of FN" in the Aisne News , the organization affirms its independence with respect to the political parties. According to the Dictionary of the extreme right-hand side, “official press releases of association, which reaffirm " the indépendance" AGRIF with respect to " all the parties politiques" , were never taken with serious by anybody”.

In November 1993, the prefect of the VAr refuses that it takes part in the departmental cell of fight against racism, xenophobia and the anti-semitism. Agrif then deposits a recourse in front of the administrative court of Nice (the Alpes-Maritimes). It is déboutée in 1997, the court estimating that Agrif “does not constitute an independent organization but is a simple emanation of a political party, the National front, since its delegate in the department of the VAr is precisely Mr. the Knight, only deputy of this party” and that “the very restricted character of its social object, namely the fight against racism antifrançais and antichrétien, is actually directly contrary with the general and universal character of the fight against racism, like besides, and with the surplus, of the message evangelic”.
