Generación LED 51

The Generación LED 51 is a name forged by Cristóbal Halffter, to indicate a group of Compositeur S traditional Spanish (or Spanish-speaking). 1951 were the year which saw the end of the studies of part of these musicians. The origin lies in the group Nueva Música founded in 1958. Ramón Barce wrote general proclamation. The goal was to leave the insulation which Spain following the pro-Franco dictatorship knew, of going to discovered from the contemporary European musics, without cutting roots of the Spanish music. The four most significant representatives are: Cristóbal Halffter, Shine of Pablo, Carmelo Bernaola and Ramón Barce.
