Gene Robinson (Lexington, 1947-) is a bishop épiscopalien elected with the head of the diocese of New Hampshire. It is especially known to have been the first homosexual bishop with being elected in the Communion Anglican. Its election caused an internal crisis when a group of bishops Anglicans emitted a protest. It had to be treated for Alcoolisme in 2006. In April 2007, he announces his decision to marry with a man.
