Genbun era

The era Genbun (in Japanese: ja 元文) is one of the eras of Japan (ja 年号, nengō , literally “the name of the year”) according to the era Kyōhō and preceding the era Kanpō extending from the 1736 to the 1741. The emperors reigning was Sakuramachi - tennō (ja 桜町天皇).
