The province of Eskişehir is one of the 81 Province S (in Turkish: it , in the singular, and it in the plural) of the Turkey.

Its Turkish prefecture (: valiliği ) is in the éponyme city Gaziantep.

Its surface is of 7.194 km ².

With the census of 2000, the province was populated approximately 1.285.249 inhabitants, that is to say a Population density of approximately 178 hab. /km ².

The province is divided into 10 Turkish districts (: ilçe , in the singular): Araban, Gaziantep, Islahiye, Kargamış, Nizip, Nurdağı, Oğuzeli, Şahinbey, Şehitkamil and Yavuzeli.
