Gazette of the Art schools

The Gazette of the Art schools is a review of art French, founded in 1859 by Edouard Houssaye, with for editor association Charles Blanc.

After having been during nearly one hundred fifty years a world reference in history of art, the Gazette of the Art schools disappears in 2002, one year after the death of Daniel Wildenstein, whose family had bought the review in 1928 and of which he was the director since 1963.
