Gazeta de Lisboa
The Gazette of Lisbon , has Gazeta de Lisboa in Portuguese, is a Périodique Portuguese created in 1641 with Lisbon by Manuel of Galhegos. It is about the first Portuguese periodical.
This monthly gazette reported progress of the war of Independence. Before that, a transitory sheet had appeared in 1625 but the Portuguese periodic literature will see really its beginnings with a new grinding of the founded Gazeta de Lisboa in 1715 by Jose Freire de Monterroyo Mascarenhas and which will appear until in 1760.
