Gay Release Face

Gay Release Face ( GLF ) is the name in the the Seventies, several militant American groups for the homosexual release; the first of them was founded in 1969 with New York by Craig Rodwell and Brenda Howard, immediately after the riots of Stonewall.

One of the first actions of the GLF was the organization of a walk in answer to Stonewall, and to require the end of persecutions of the homosexual ones. The political combat of the GLF is broad and exceeds discrimination towards the homosexual ones, since he denounces racism and gives his support for the Black Panters and the various fights of emancipation in the Tiers-monde. The GLF is anti-capitalist, and calls into question the structure of the family model and the traditional roles of the sexes. Certain female members of the CFL, such as Martha Shelley, will continue the combat by forming the Lavender Menace.
