Gavray
Gavray is a common French, located in the department of the Manche and the area Basse-Normandie.
Geography
Gavray is located in the middle of the valley of His. The village is brood between several hills of which one of them sheltered the ducal castle of Gavray. The bridge on His baptized bridge of peace (in 2004) was destroyed as all the district which surrounds it during the second world war.

In 1973, it amalgamated with Mesnil-Bonant (INSEE of old: 50307) and Mesnil-Hoots It (INSEE of old: 50314), which kept the statute of common partners (until in 1988 only for Mesnil-Bonant).

thousand-year-old fair during three days: the Fair Saint Luc.Friday nearest of October 18th: fair with the horses, of the thousands of salesmen and purchasers of horses, asses, ponies… arrive from all Europe for this gathering. In parallel, fair with the pets, gastronomical fair (many tentiers, grill-room owners are present), unpackers and fun fair.
