Gave de Lutour
The Gave de Lutour is a precursor or right affluent of the Gave de Cauterets, in the Hautes-Pyrénées. It drains the Vallée of Lutour.
Geography --> The gave is born from the collection of water of the Oule ttes of Estom Soubiran where it is used as emissary with the Lac Frozen (2 565 m). Under the name of gave of Estom Soubiran , it forwards by the lake Lac Couy (2 445 m), the Lake of Oulettes d' Estom Soubiran (2 360 m), the Lake Labas (2 281 m) then feeds the Lac of Estom (1 804 m). Downstream from this lake, the gave of Lutour is reinforced water of the Lacs of Estibe Aute (2 328 m and 2 324 m) then joins in the Gave de Cauterets with the Arraillère (with 1 033 m).
