Gavdos is a Greek island located at 40 km at broad of the Crete. It faces the town of Paleochora, to which it is connected by a correspondence by boat 2 times per week. Its surface is of 7.400 hectares, and the permanent population does not exceed 60 inhabitants.
The course Tripiti constitutes the southernmost point of geographical Europe.
The first traces of human occupation go back to 3000 before J.C and one raises some traces dating from the MinoƩen.
