Gautier Giffard
Gautier Giffard designates several Norman or Anglo-Norman characters Moyen-Âge. Among them, one will retain:
- Gautier I {{er}} Giffard, companion of William the Conqueror to the Battle of Hastings ;
- Gautier II Giffard, his son, Count de Buckingham in England ;
- Gautier Giffard, bishop of Bath and Wells (about 1265-1266) then archbishop of York (about 1266-1279).
