Gauchin-Legal Gauchin-the-Gall or according to its official name (INSEE) is a common French, located in the department of the Pas-de-Calais and the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

History

Gauchin-the-Gall owes his name with the Gall a heavy stone which moved “by magic” in front of the door of the inaccurate wives. It for summer has connected.

The commune is served by the secondary road 341 known as Chaussée Brunehaut connecting Arras to Thérouanne.

Gall de Gauchin, is connected there on his terminal, on the place of the village where it arrived, one day, a long time ago… This sandstone stone, almost round, rolled formerly to the doors of the misled husbands. Buried in 1914, by a lady which had found it in front of its door, it remade surface and was definitively connected in 1925, where it is today.
