Gastrectomy

The gastrectomy is the ablation Chirurgicale total or partial of the Estomac. The first successful gastrectomy was carried out by Theodor Billroth for a Cancer of the stomach. The gastrectomies are carried out to treat the Cancer S, the serious cases of peptic Ulcère, and the perforations of the stomachic wall.

This procedure became less current as the peptide ulcers are often treated by antibiotics against Helicobacter pylori or by Endoscopie.
