Gaston Waringhien , born with Lille the July 20th 1901 and dead the December 20th 1991, is a Linguiste and lexicographer French esperantist, editor association of the Plena Vortaro (1930), Plena Ilustrita Vortaro (1970), dictionaries of reference of the Esperanto, Grand Dictionary Esperanto-French (1957) and of Plena Analiza Gramatiko (1935, 1938,1981 with Kálmán Kalocsay). Among his works one counts linguistic poems, tests and treaties.

Quotation: “When Esperanto is practiced one feels a feeling of creative freedom which gives to this language a very particular charm”.
