Gaston Shepherd
Gaston Berger (October 1st 1896 with Saint-Louis of Senegal - November 13rd 1960) is an industrialist, Philosophe and administrator French, known mainly for its studies on Husserl and for its work on the Caractérologie.
After having been manager of a factory of manure in south-east in the Years 1930, it founds the international University center and of the centers of futurology and is director of the philosophical Études . He is director of the higher education of the Minister of education main road of 1953 to 1960, and modernizes the French university for this period. He is elected member of the Academy of Science morals and political in 1955. He founds the review Prospective and same name with André Gros in 1957 centers it.
He is the father of the choreographer Maurice Béjart (1927-2007).
He is the inventor of the " term; Prospective " , which means study of the possible futures.
The University of Saint-Louis of Senegal (its birthplace) bears its name.
