Gaston Schoukens

Gaston Schoukens (or Felix Beautiful or Felix Beautiful) is a Belgian realizer born with Brussels on February 5th, 1901 and deceased on April 10th, 1961 in Brussels.

In 1926, it is made known with its first comedy Mister my driver . In 1930, it carries out the Family Klepkens , regarded as first Belgian sound film (the sound is recorded on Long-playing record). In 1931, it carries out the Belgian first Feature-length film using its optics which gathers music and images on the same support, in the prettiest dream . In 1932, it turns the Corpse n° 5 , with Fernand Crommelynck, Edouard Bréville, Marguerite Daulboys, Lucien Mussière and Zizi Festerat.

Gaston Schoukens was during nearly thirty years the figurehead of the Belgian Cinéma popular.
