Gaston Plissonnier

Gaston Plissonnier is a French politician, born on July 11th, 1913 with Bantanges (Saône-et-Loire) and deceased on May 16th, 1995.

Biography

Entered with the French Communist party in 1935, he becomes federal secretary of the Loir-et-Cher (1948-1953). It climbs then the levels of the Party: member of the Central committee (1950-1990), of the Secretariat (1956-1990) and the Political office (1964-1990). It is an omnipresent personality in the operation of the Party.

It will be made knight and Officer of the Legion of Honor.
