Biography

Lawyer, member influential of the SFIO in the Hollow one, Gaston Chazette was mayor and general adviser of Bourganeuf. Elected official Senator in 1948, it lost his seat after an unhappy word with regard to the Communists who at the time of the senatorial elections of 1959 deferred their votes on Eugene Romaine (Left democratic) which was elected.

Thereafter, Gaston Chazette gave up his seat at the general advice with the profit of André Chandernagor.
