Gascon Jean

Jean Gascon is a Acteur Québécois born the December 21st 1921 with Montreal (Canada), deceased the April 13rd 1988 with Stratford (Canada). Actor and artistic director montréalais, it devoted its life to the cause of the Canadian theater. In 1951, it founded the Théâtre of the New World and the National school of arts. It spent 19 seasons to Stratford, including five as a Director artistic, where it produced My Fair Lady . It was then theatrical Directeur with the National center of arts to Ottawa. In 1972, its production of There' S One In Every Marriage was presented to Broadway. Then in 1973, it left in round in Europe and the U.S.S.R. with a production the tamed shrew .
