Gary Armstrong

Gary Armstrong , born the September 30th 1966 with Edinburgh, is a player of Rugby to XV Scottish which played with the team of Scotland of 1988 with 1999, evolving/moving at the post of half of mélée (1,72 m and 89 kg).
Biography
He played for the clubs: Jed-Forest, Newcastle Falcons and The Borders. It was champion of England in 1995 with the Newcastle Falcons.He knew his first international cape at the time of a test match the November 19th 1988 against the team of Australia.
He disputed his last test match the October 24th 1999 at the time of a quarterfinal of world cup against the team of New Zealand.
He took part in the Five Nations tournament of 1989 to 1999, and gained it in 1999. It was ten times captain of the team of Scotland, in particular during the tournaments of 1998 and 1999.
Armstrong took part in the world cup 1999 (4 played matches, beaten in quarterfinal).
It finished its career of player in 2004.
