Garoua
Garoua , capital of the province of the North of the Cameroun and the chief town of the department of the Bénoué, is also the birthplace of the first president, Ahmadou Ahidjo. For this reason, Garoua profited from many infrastructures among which a international Aéroport with a direct connection with Paris by flight Cameroon Airlines.
Oasis of greenery in the middle of the bush, Garoua, 357.000 inhabitants approximately, city pleasant and equipped well with the north of the Cameroun, constitutes a turntable of the tourist movements directed, on the one hand towards north, the National park of Waza and the area of the Kapsiki, on the other hand, towards the south, the Parks of the Bénoué, Boubandjida and the reserve of Faro.
In Garoua, heat is torrid (approximately 39°C in the shade), in spite of the shade brought by the trees which border the streets.
