Garou
Garou , of its true name Pierre Garand , is a singer Québécois, born the June 26th 1972 with Sherbrooke with the Quebec (Canada). He studied with the Séminaire of Sherbrooke.
He becomes famous in France by interpreting the character of Quasimodo in the musical comedy Notre-Dame de Paris of Richard Cocciante and Luc Plamondon. Then, in 2000, it starts a career solo with the album " Seul". Garou sang in March 2002 with the General sports Palate of Paris-Bercy in front of nearly 11.000 spectators. In November 2003, it leaves its second album entitled “Return” and in June 2006 its third opus quite simply baptized " Garou". The singer already made several rounds while passing by Quebec, Poland, Russia, Lebanon, France, Belgium and Switzerland.
Garou is also a registered trademark in France with INPI, including in the field of the leisures, but not by the singer.
Biography
Its career begins with the bar Liquor Store, with Magog. There he sings Blues, of all his heart. It is from this place that he will be noticed by Luc Plamondon to interpret Quasimodo in the famous musical comedy Notre-Dame de Paris.In 2007, one lends to him a connection with the singer Lorie whom it would have met at the time of the round of the dumbs.
