Characters
On their arrival in the world of the 20th century, only Goliath had a name. The name of the other members of the clan all are inspired by known sites of the town of New York.-
Goliath : He is the chief of the waste-gas mains, noble and intelligent, although a little naive and limited in his decisions. Its direction of the honor and honesty is its greater forces. Its physical resistance and its anger can be very impressive. It does not make confidence with the human ones, but it thinks that an arrangement between human and waste-gas mains can be reached. It is attached to the traditions and had a certain difficulty of being accustomed to the modern world.
-
Hudson : Oldest of the clan of waste-gas mains, this one-eyed warrior is a voice of wisdom among his pars. He is like the adviser of Goliath and Brooklyn. Its favorite pastime is television and he is the only member of clan which fights regularly with a weapon, a sword in this case. Its greater shame is the fact that it cannot read. However, with the assistance of a blind veteran, he learns. He was captured by Xanatos to use it in an experiment to acquire immortality. By using its resources, he escaped from it unscathed. Although that never appeared on the tapes, according to the creators, Hudson is the biological father of Broadway.
-
Brooklyn : One of the trio of the young male waste-gas mains and that of the clan which resembles one human less, with a mouth pronounced, but not inappreciable, in the shape of nozzle. Although it does not have the resistance and the smoothness of Goliath, it is largely compensated by a nature to reflect and act quickly. He is much more one planner and usually tends to carefully consider his movements before the action when he is remotely sufficient of the enemy.
-
Lexington : Smallest of the clan and only whose wings are based on those of the squirrel S wheels. It is also, technically speaking, most qualified. It is that which prefers this time more than no matter whom for his projections technological.
-
Broadway : He likes to eat and he shows it, a true gourmet! He believes that it is necessary to test each conceivable form of culinary pleasure which it appreciates as a cook of the clan. Its outside somewhat dodu mask a wild and intelligent warrior. Like Hudson, it was also illiterate, but the idea to discover the past pushed it to acquire this competence.
-
Angela : Girl of Goliath and Demona. Angela was raised by Katharine, Tom and Magus in Avalon, with the remainder of his/her brothers and sisters of clan. After Archimage was demolishes, Angela is gone back with Goliath to Manhattan. Angela is very intelligent and subtle. She resembles extremely her mother for these two qualities. She compliments the naivety well on Goliath.
-
Bronx : The animal of the clan of the waste-gas mains. They like it and Bronx their is faithful. It proves to be of a great ferocity when the situation requires it.
-
Elisa Refined : The detective of police force which is the first true modern human friend of the waste-gas mains. She shows them the world of the XXe century in Manhattan, and the creatures repair it against the occasional gangsters. It was accidentally touched by a shooting of Broadway and it maintains its gun under safety now.
Species
In the world of Gargoyles, there are three intelligent species, four if one considers the victims of a scientist to the service of Xanatos:
The human ones
Nothing to say of private individual on this subject, to see Human.
Waste-gas mains
The Waste-gas mains are bipeds (most of the time), but have three pairs of members, the third on the basis of the back generally and which forms the wings. The waste-gas mains do not fly, they do nothing but plane on ascending currents. They are stronger than the human ones, have only 4 fingers at the ends but which end in nails or hard claws. They have a tail. The day, they are transformed into stone, which enables them to accumulate energy to plane, to guerrir light wounds or poisoning. Growing old step in this case, they lives two or three times a long time than the human ones. The Waste-gas mains reproduce slowly, via eggs, and do not live as a clan, so much so that each child is the child of all the clan.
Children of Obéron
They are magic creatures, very different between them. Few common points: they immortal, are equipped with capacities magic, subjected to Obéron, and sensitive to iron (even with the sound of an iron bell)
Mutants
Following an experiment for immiter the Waste-gas mains, certain human were transformed into hybrids resembling Waste-gas mains vaguely.
