Gargoulette
A gargoulette is a porous Cruche which makes it possible by evaporation to refresh the Eau that it contains. According to the areas one can also call it alcarraza . The narrow nozzle makes it possible to direct the jet directly at the bottom of the throat, it came from there the expression to drink with the gargoulette synonymous with to drink with the Régalade .
Etymology
The word would come from the Provençal gargouleto which means small jug.
