Gareth Thomas

Gareth Thomas , born the July 25th 1974 in Bridgend (Wales), is a player of Rugby Welsh. He plays in team of Wales and evolves/moves at the back station of within the manpower of the Cardiff Blues.

After having taken part in three world cups between 1995 and 2003, it becomes in 2004 captain of the team of Wales, which carries out a Grand slam at the time of the Tournoi of the six nations 2005. However it misses the last 2 matches for a wound with the inch.

It beats the record saturdays May 26th 2007 against the team of Australia. At 33 years, it was renewed at its post of captain of the Welsh team for the world cup 2007 in France.
