Garancières

Garancières is a common French, located in the department of the Yvelines and the area Île-de-France.

Geography

The commune of Garancières is located in the Plaine of Montfort-l' Amaury at 32 km at the west of Versailles, the prefecture, and to 26 km of Rambouillet, the sub-prefecture.

The communes bordering on the commune are Villiers-le-Mahieu in the North-East, Autouillet with the east-north-east on 600 Mr., Boissy-without-To have in the east, Tail-lez-Yvelines in the south, Millemont in south-west, Orgerus in the west and Flexanville in the North-West.

The communal territory is crossed of west in is by the Ru of Millemont and the Ru of the Fountains coming from Tail-lez-Yvelines in the south. These two rus are thrown in the Ru of Garancières which runs out towards Boissy-without-To have.

The commune is crossed by the secondary road 42 which carries out, towards the east, with Boissy-without-To have and Neauphle-the-Old man and, towards the west, with Béhoust and, beyond, with Septeuil. The secondary road 155 is the street Louis Siou or road of the Station which leads to Tail-lez-Yvelines. The secondary road 197 which starts near the station, crosses the south of the communal territory to lead, towards south-west, to Millemont and the Trunk road 12.

The network Transilien serves the Gare of Garancières - the Tail on the line Paris-Montparnasse - Dreux.
