Gapeau

Gapeau is a coastal Fleuve department French of Var, taking its source with Signes. Running in the VAr, in the East of Toulon, Gapeau is badly known of all, even residents. He traverses 47,5 kilometers.

He takes his source with the foot of the Massif of the Holy-Balsam, then he slips by through a narrow corridor, the high-valley, to Solliès-Pont. Open then the low valley: Gapeau crosses an agricultural plain which is stretched of Toulon to the Luc, it follows the western slopes of the Massif of the Moors, and finds finally its mouth with Saline of Hyères, not far from the Presqu'île of Giens.
