Gao Lan
Military leader under Yuan Shao. He faced Xu Chu at the time of the Bataille of Guandu and with Zhang He, they conducted an unfruitful attack on the camp of CAD CAD because of the bad councils of Guo You. Going to be carried out for this defeat, Gao Lan killed a messenger of Yuan Shao which summoned it to go near this last and went to offer its services to CAD CAD with its assistant Zhang He. It was thus named adjudant-general and Seigneur of Donglai. It took part then in the strategy of the " Ten Embuscades" of Cheng Yu at the time of the offensive on Cangting against Yuan Shao. A little later in year 201, it went to defend Xuchang against Liu EIB. It contributed to divert Liu EIB and killed Liu pi, but was made however kill by Zhao Yun.
