Gangnihessou
Gangnihessou is traditionally the first of the twelve kings of the Dahomey.
Gangnihessou would have reigned in the neighborhoods of the year 1620. Its symbols were a male bird gangnihessou (the bird was a “Rébus” for its name), a drum, and lances of hunting. Historically it is not entirely established that it actually reigned with the title of king. It could be simply that he was an influential chief governing the businesses of the kingdom thanks to the echo which its councils near his/her younger brother Dakodonou found who, on the other hand, was clearly regarded as a king of alive sound.
Simple: Gangnihessou
