Gangnam-gu

Gangnam-gu is a district ( gu ) of the Seoul, richest of the city. The name of Gangnam (강남 - 江南) means “the south of the river”.

The district of Gangnam-gu was developed later that the district in the north of the river, it is thus more modern, with broad avenues and high buildings of prestige. One finds there in particular many companies working on information technologies.

This modernity, the presence of foreign institutions, restaurants and places where to have fun many young people attract. Especially in the district called Apgujung (압구정).

This district became very tourist.
