The Group of the National Insurances ( GAN ) is a group of insurances, repurchased in July 1998 by Groupama.

The new group became by this skew one of the largest groups of French insurances.

The GAN was the result of fusion into 1968 of the groups the Sun and the Eagle, nationalized in 1946, with the companies of the Main road.

The Tour GAN located at Defense in Courbevoie was drawn by max Abramovitz is classified like one of the highest French structures.
