Game of pure chance

A game of pure chance is a Game of chance where the only element which determines the victory is the chance. As soon as an element makes it possible to the player to choose an option which is likely better to arrive, one cannot truly any more speak about game of pure chance. But the element must be real and tangible, which is not the case for example analysis that a player could make of a behavior of his adversary.

The games of pure chance are probably among the oldest plays of humanity.

They were often synonymous with plays of money or play with divination. Certain games were played in the courses royal, like the Biribi, ancestor of the Bingo and the Loto, prohibited in 1837.
