Gambit operation
During the Second world war, the operation Gambit (with the Operation Maple) belonged to the operation Neptune which was the naval phase of the unloading in Normandy. These operations implied two Sous-marin S miniatures, placed at the ends left and right-hand side of the British and Canadian beaches of invasion, in order to announce them with lights and flags of navigation.
