Gamélion

The gamélion is the seventh month (or eighth when l´année 13 counted some) Greek Calendrier antique in force in the area of Athens, it lasted 30 days lain roughly between on December 22nd and on February 20th of our calendar actuel.
Il car its name of the Greek word ( Γαμηλιών / Gameliốn “the month of the marriages”) of the festival as a l honnor of the marriage of Zeus and Héra.
