Says elements, generally metal, having undergone a surface treatment per immersion in an electrolytic bath containing Zinc, the Galvanisation.

The parts thus treated can be known as also " in Tinplate ".

By extension, in certain areas, of mountain in particular, the roofer-zinc workers working and posing galvanized steel works are called the Ferblantier s.

Formerly, of many gardening and kitchen utensils were out of galvanized steel. Their use tends to be lost, of novel methods and of new more powerful materials make them obsolete because of:

  • their deterioration with the wire of time (rust),
  • their weight,
  • their uniform color.
