Galloway
Galloway ( Gall-ghaidhealaibh or Scottish Gallobha in , Gallowa in Scots) indicates today the old county of Wigtownshire (delimited by the coast in the west, hills of Galloway in north, and the Cree river in the east) and the Stewartry off Kirkcudbright (which extends from Nith with Creates, and is also limited by the hills of Galloway to North) in the south-west of the Scotland, but whose size varied much during the History. It constitutes part of the Council area of Dumfries and Galloway. This name is also given to a robust race of Bœuf S blacks without horns, originating in the area. Galloway relatively was always insulated because of its 250 km of broken coasts and its vast uninhabited hills of north.
