Gallo-Roman theater of Bouchauds

Located on the commune of Saint-Cybardeaux in Charente, the ruins of the Gallo-Roman theater of Bouchauds are embusquées in the middle of a natural concavity in the side of a hill.

Because of its diameter of 105 meters, this place could probably accommodate more than 5000 people, which in fact a vestige of a size comparable with the ancient Théâtre of Orange or with the Arènes of Arles.
