Gallate
The gallate is a continental Celtic language extinct which was spoken formerly in Galatie in Asia Mineure (current Turkey) about third century BC at the 4th century.
Of this language, only some Glose S is known for us like some briefs comments in the traditional writers and of the names on inscriptions. That represents a total of approximately 120 words, mainly of the names of anybody ending in - riks (cf the Gaulois - rix/-reix , the Vieil Irish laughed , the Latin rex ) “king”, and some ending in - marus , dative - husband (cf the Gallic - maros , the viel Irish mor , Welsh mawr and Breton the mor ) “large”. One also lays out of some names of tribes such as Ambitouti (viel Irish imm- “surroundings” and tuath “tribe”) as well as lexical term drunaimeton “the place of the assembly” (cf old Irish drui “druid” and neimed “crowned place”). Gallate is a contemporary continental Celtic language (even a Dialecte of the) Gallic one.
